US Regulatory Head for Rx and Aesthetic products

Reports To: Global Head of Regulatory and dotted line to US VP of R&D

Location: NJ North/NYC Area

Overall Responsibilities:

Provide overall Regulatory leadership and Strategy in the development of multiple Prescriptions (Rx) and Aesthetic products under development by Almirall and its US affiliate (Aqua).

This position requires flexibility and a strong overall understanding of all Regulatory Affairs associated with a Dermatology/Aesthetic company with marketed and investigational products.

Primary/Major Responsibilities:

Knowledge & Experience:

Master's degree in biological science or management required with a minimum of 10 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience in Regulatory Affairs pharmaceutical R&D is required Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. Ideally, demonstrated experience dealing with Aesthetic medical device submissions in the US.


This position has a high level of complexity. The incumbent must be able to lead all Regulatory Affairs activities for new product/medical devices development processes both inside and outside of the company and assist in prioritizing all related activities to insure that objectives are successfully met in a timely manner. Must be capable of making and/or advising management on Regulatory decisions, using expert Regulatory consultants, as needed, affecting a multitude of departments/disciplines to insure that the Company's business/budgetary objectives are met with respect to commercial and new product development.

Supervision Received:

This is a position which is highly independent and receives minimal direct supervision.

Contact with Others:

This position has a high level of interaction both internal and external to the Company. The incumbent must be capable of interacting with the Leadership Team, governmental agencies and third party consultants on a regular basis.

Overall Responsibilities:

Aqua Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible and accountable for increasing sales of Aqua's portfolio of prescription drugs in their specific Region which consists of 6 territories (6 sales representatives). The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of the representatives in their Region and coaching representatives in all aspects of their job performance. The Regional Manager directs efforts to implement promotional and marketing programs, manages activity to targeted prescribers within their Region and ensures compliance with corporate policies and practices.

Regional Account Manager, Managed Markets (Mid-Senior Level)

Reports To: Senior Director, Managed Care & Trade Relations

Job Location: This position is field based and can be located anywhere in the northeast quadrant of the United States.

Overall Responsibilities:

Responsible for patient access to Almirall products within each targeted payer, key provider and channel customer. When appropriate, take action to move payer decisions in a direction that continues to open access to appropriate patient care. Assess product positioning and develop strategic plans for assigned Commercial, Medicare and key Government Agencies. Partner with executives of assigned payers to create mutually beneficial business relationships. Collaborate with commercial leadership to secure product access and position Almirall as a leader in the field of dermatology.
